Goose Grass for Dog Health
May 17, 2016
Goose grass, cleavers, sticky weed or Galium aparine. It doesn't matter what you call it, did you know that this common plant is great for your dog? In short it is reputed to aid the lymphatic system (the one that clears out waste yuk from the body) and in doing so is said to improve condition and reduce inflammation in various internal and external conditions from gastric ulcers to eczema and is safe to use. Collect it at this time of year away from road sides and places where other dogs may have pee'd and either finely chop it fresh into food or dry it and chop it finely for use at a later date and through winter. Love foraging :-)
